Senior Migration Architect – Consultant

About the role

Join Veeva Systems as a Migration Architect to design and lead high‑impact data and content migration strategies for Life Sciences customers moving to the Vault Platform. You will own end‑to‑end migration implementations, collaborate with Services, Product, Sales and Strategy teams, and ensure long‑term customer success.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and deliver Vault R&D migration projects, ensuring smooth transitions from legacy systems.
• Own migration projects from strategy through execution and validation.
• Advise customers throughout the ETL process, guaranteeing data quality and regulatory compliance.
• Coach and mentor Data Migration Specialists and contribute to internal knowledge sharing.
• Support customer validation and verification activities and collaborate with engineering to improve migration tooling.
• Assist with project scoping, estimation and provide strategic technical insight.

Required profile

• 8+ years of data and content migration experience in enterprise systems.
• 5+ years of project leadership and customer‑facing consulting experience.
• Strong communication skills with senior business and technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with Life Sciences regulations (GxP, validation).
• Proven ability to lead, mentor and inspire cross‑functional teams.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% across Europe.

Required skills

• Vault APIs and migration tooling.
• ETL processes.
• Java and Python programming.
• Experience with Documentum, OpenText, Box, SharePoint, SAP, Salesforce, Oracle.
