Senior Physiotherapist

About the role

Direct Medics is seeking an experienced Senior Physiotherapist to provide weekly home‑based care for a client with a traumatic brain injury in the Ballyshannon area, County Donegal. The role involves reviewing and updating the client’s Home Exercise Programme (HEP), ensuring all Health Care Assistants (HCAs) are trained, and liaising with the GP for any Botox review requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Attend the client’s home once a week (or fortnightly) to deliver physiotherapy interventions.
• Review, complete and adjust the client’s Home Exercise Programme.
• Train and supervise Health Care Assistants to ensure competency.
• Communicate with the GP regarding potential Botox treatment reviews.
• Travel from Sligo to Ballyshannon with mileage reimbursed and a three‑hour payment covering travel time.

Required profile

• CORU‑registered Physiotherapist.
• Minimum three years post‑graduate physiotherapy experience in the UK or ROI.
• Full Irish driver’s licence and access to a car.
• Right to live and work in the UK or Ireland without visa sponsorship.

Required skills

• HEP review and modification.
• HCAS training and supervision.
• Botox treatment review coordination.
