Senior Process & Plant Engineer

About the role

The Senior Process & Plant Engineer will lead the optimisation of production processes, improve plant efficiency and support safe, reliable manufacturing operations. Working closely with production, quality, maintenance and EHS teams, the role ensures consistent product quality, regulatory compliance and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support on manufacturing shifts, diagnosing and resolving process‑related faults.
• Monitor equipment and process performance, identify deviations and drive corrective actions.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Six Sigma, Fishbone, FMEA and root‑cause analysis.
• Collaborate with maintenance and manufacturing teams to implement engineering solutions that increase equipment uptime.
• Support quality investigations, including customer complaints and process‑related issues.
• Participate in project teams, offering technical expertise and informed decision‑making.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 3rd‑level engineering qualification (Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Production or equivalent).
• Proven ability to lead improvement programmes from concept through execution.
