Senior Project Manager – Aviation

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead aviation‑related infrastructure projects for AECOM’s Dublin office. The role is primarily site‑based, requiring four days on‑site and one day remote each week, and will oversee the delivery of major terminal, airfield and civil works from concept through commissioning.

Key responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary project teams and coordinate all project interfaces throughout the lifecycle.
• Maintain responsibility matrices (RACI) and ensure design reviews are organised and documented.
• Manage procurement, construction, commissioning and close‑out activities, keeping cost, schedule and risk under control.
• Engage with senior client and stakeholder representatives, providing commercial and technical updates.
• Oversee governance, reporting and compliance with NEC contracts.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of experience delivering large‑scale aviation or similarly complex infrastructure projects.
• Proven track record of managing capital programmes with full responsibility for cost, schedule and risk.
• Experience working with NEC Suite of Contracts in a client, contractor or consultancy setting.
• Strong leadership, mentoring and stakeholder‑management capabilities.
