Senior Project Manager – Healthcare Identity Management

About the role

The Senior Project Manager will lead a national high‑impact identity‑management programme within the Irish healthcare system. Reporting to the Senior Management Team, you will drive strategic initiatives aligned with the Digital for Care strategy over a 12‑month period.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and deliver a major change‑management project across the health sector, ensuring completion within the 12‑month timeframe.
• Define project scope, develop comprehensive plans, timelines and risk‑mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate and engage a diverse group of stakeholders, including clinical, operational, technical and governance representatives.
• Monitor progress, ensure compliance with regulatory standards and drive continuous improvement.
• Manage resources efficiently to achieve project milestones and objectives.

Required profile

• Senior‑level business experience, preferably within the public or healthcare sector.
• Strategic thinker with strong leadership, communication and organisational abilities.
• Proven ability to manage multiple work streams and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
• Experience delivering projects that meet regulatory and quality standards.

• Hybrid working arrangement based in Drogheda.
• 35‑hour week as an agency employee, paid at €45.95 per hour (annualised €83,911).
• 30 days of annual leave plus paid Bank Holidays.
• 12‑month fixed‑term contract with the possibility of extension.
