Senior Project Manager – Process Development (Pharma)

About the role

We are partnering with a leading life‑sciences company in South Dublin to hire a Senior Project Manager focused on Process Development. The role leads New Product Introduction (NPI) and Lifecycle Management (LCM) projects within a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment, delivering results safely, compliantly, on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Lead cross‑functional NPI and LCM projects, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, quality and compliance targets are met.
• Develop, maintain and govern integrated project plans, driving decision‑making, risk mitigation and issue resolution.
• Partner with site and global stakeholders to align priorities, secure resources and coordinate product introductions.
• Manage project scope, risks, decisions and GMP change controls while maintaining transparent communication.
• Ensure all activities comply with cGMP, EHS, quality systems and organisational governance.
• Promote continuous improvement through structured project‑management practices and operational excellence.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (Master’s or equivalent experience is a plus).
• 5–8 years of experience in pharma, biotech or life‑sciences, with at least 3 years in project management.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional, matrixed teams in manufacturing or technical operations.
• Strong communication, influencing and problem‑solving skills.

Required skills

• Project‑management tools: Smartsheet, MS Project, MS Office (including PowerPoint), Visio.
• Experience with TrackWise (preferred).
• Working knowledge of cGMP, EHS and GMP change‑control processes.
