Senior Protection Associate - Integration

About the role

Under the overall supervision of the Chief of Mission and the direct supervision of the Head of the Integration Unit, the Senior Protection Associate will lead a team delivering protection‑related activities and transition assistance for Beneficiaries of Temporary Protection (BOTPs) in Ireland.

Key responsibilities

• Support implementation of project activities in line with Standard Operating Procedures.
• Supervise and train Caseworkers on vulnerability assessments and individualized casework.
• Oversee Project Associates, coordinate workstreams and ensure alignment of activities.
• Coordinate SOP implementation in the field and provide technical support as needed.
• Maintain data accuracy in IOM software platforms and contribute to donor reporting.
• Ensure confidentiality, monitor integrity of records and support fraud‑mitigation efforts.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Social Science or related field with at least five years relevant experience, or high school diploma with seven years experience.
• Proven experience in protection‑related casework and supervising a team.
• Previous work in international, governmental or non‑governmental organisations.
• Fluency in English (oral and written); Ukrainian or Russian language skills are an asset.
• Strong interpersonal and intercultural skills with attention to detail.
