Senior Recruitment Consultant – Trades & Labour

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Recruitment Consultant to lead our Trades & Labour desk covering Galway and Limerick. You will work with leading construction and infrastructure clients, placing skilled tradespeople on high‑profile projects while driving business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Own a 360° recruitment desk focused on trades and labour roles.
• Build and nurture relationships with construction, engineering and infrastructure clients across the region.
• Source, interview and place skilled trades professionals, including electricians and other high‑demand skillsets.
• Develop and execute business development plans to expand the client portfolio.
• Manage the full end‑to‑end recruitment process, from candidate sourcing to offer negotiation.
• Maintain and grow a temporary worker daybook.
• Contribute to team initiatives and share best practices.

Required profile

• Proven track record in agency recruitment, preferably within construction, trades or related sectors.
• Strong business development and relationship‑building abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.
• Commercially minded, ambitious and highly motivated.
• Excellent organisational and stakeholder management skills.
• Collaborative mindset with a desire for long‑term career growth.
