Senior Sales Engineer, Commercial

About the role

Fivetran is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to join its Commercial sales team. You will work closely with sales colleagues to understand complex business needs of commercial customers and demonstrate how Fivetran’s data replication solutions can deliver value.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with commercial customers to gather business requirements and data replication use cases.
• Develop and deliver technical presentations tailored to commercial audiences.
• Lead proof‑of‑value engagements to secure technical wins.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to drive product improvements.
• Partner with multiple sales representatives while maintaining high customer focus.
• Stay current on emerging data technologies and industry trends.
• Assist teammates in overcoming advanced technical or business challenges.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in data replication, sales engineering, or a related technical field.
• Strong background in database replication, cloud infrastructure, and data integration technologies.
• Hands‑on experience with modern data analytics platforms, cloud data warehouses, and BI tools.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Proven problem‑solving and analytical abilities.
