Senior Site Manager

About the role

Clancy, a leading Irish construction firm, is seeking a Senior Site Manager to oversee complex projects in Dublin. You will work closely with the Contracts Manager and multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the site team, including Site Managers, Assistants, engineers, and design/package managers.
• Prioritise health, safety, quality and environmental excellence on‑site.
• Critically review design drawings, identify coordination issues, and drive resolutions with project and commercial teams.
• Ensure accurate setting‑out, MEP coordination and integration of builders’ works drawings.
• Collaborate with QA/QC teams to maintain compliance with project and industry standards.
• Oversee day‑to‑day site operations, subcontractor performance, labour allocation and progress tracking.
• Chair weekly progress meetings, maintain thorough documentation and daily site diaries.
• Control material ordering, adhere to submittal processes, and manage close‑out activities including snag lists.
• Support commercial meetings, capture variations and facilitate client change management.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in construction site management.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary site teams.
• Strong focus on health, safety, quality and environmental standards.
• Experience reviewing and coordinating complex design drawings, especially MEP services.
• Demonstrated competence in subcontractor management and material procurement.
