About the role
Join Qualcomm’s Open Source Engineering (OSEng) team to design, build, and maintain web‑based tools that generate Software Bills of Materials (SBOMs) and streamline open‑source compliance. You will work in a Linux environment, collaborating with engineers, legal, and product teams across the company.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, and support full‑stack web applications and micro‑services.
- Build and extend automation pipelines to optimise the open‑source review process.
- Integrate with internal engineering tools, troubleshoot issues, and create scripts for Linux environments.
- Gather requirements from end‑users, resolve incidents, and document solutions.
Required profile
- 3‑5 years of professional software development experience.
- Strong ownership, proactive attitude, and clear communication skills.
- Detail‑oriented with the ability to document issues and resolutions.
Required skills
- Python web development (Django).
- React front‑end development.
- Asynchronous task pipelines (Celery, RabbitMQ).
- SQL and PostgreSQL.
- Git version control.
- Linux environment, shell scripting, and troubleshooting.
