Senior Stakeholder Engagement Consultant

About the role

As a Senior Stakeholder Engagement Consultant you will join AECOM’s dedicated Consultation, Communications and Engagement team to support major infrastructure and development projects across Ireland. You will work in a collaborative, high‑performing environment that values wellbeing, flexibility and professional growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement communications strategies, project narratives and key messages for diverse audiences.
• Create and manage communication collateral, digital content and media relations.
• Identify, map and analyse key stakeholders, establishing engagement strategies and delivery plans.
• Design and conduct surveys, manage feedback channels and analyse consultation responses.
• Plan and deliver physical and virtual events, ensuring safety, logistics and tailored stakeholder materials.
• Maintain and monitor communication channels, providing regular updates to clients and internal teams.

Required profile

• Proven experience in stakeholder engagement, consultation and communications within large‑scale infrastructure or public‑sector projects.
• Strong ability to develop strategic communication plans and adapt messages for technical, statutory and community audiences.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience producing reports, briefs and media content.
• Demonstrated capability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and external partners.
• Understanding of Irish regulatory and consenting processes is advantageous.
