Senior Tax Manager – Dublin

About the role

Our client, a leading Irish accountancy practice, is expanding its Dublin team and seeks a Senior Tax Manager to lead tax compliance and advisory services for a diverse portfolio of corporate and private clients. You will work closely with clients across multiple industries and jurisdictions, delivering high‑quality technical tax solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage, review and file corporation tax returns for corporate clients.
• Prepare and submit income tax and partnership returns for private clients.
• Advise on capital gains tax, identifying reliefs and planning opportunities.
• Support clients with VAT and indirect tax matters, including property transactions.
• Liaise with Revenue on compliance interventions and payment arrangements.
• Research complex tax legislation and provide guidance on R&D tax credits and interest limitation rules.
• Lead the tax team to meet departmental targets and performance metrics.
• Identify cross‑selling opportunities and collaborate with colleagues on additional services.
• Prepare bespoke tax planning reports across various tax disciplines.
• Mentor and develop junior team members.

Required profile

• CTA qualification.
• Minimum 3 years of experience covering corporation tax, personal tax and related areas.
• Strong technical tax knowledge with excellent communication and relationship‑management skills.
• Proven leadership and team‑management experience.
• Highly organised, commercially minded and motivated.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ROS for tax compliance.
