Senior Tax Manager

About the role
Our client, a respected Dublin accountancy practice, is looking for a Senior Tax Manager to lead a diverse portfolio of personal and corporate clients. You will work closely with the Tax Director and Partners, delivering high‑quality tax advice and supporting the firm’s growth.
Key responsibilities
- Manage a varied client portfolio, overseeing billing, collections and work‑in‑progress.
- Prepare and review tax returns across corporate tax, income tax, capital gains, capital acquisitions and VAT.
- Lead advisory projects and research complex tax technical issues.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, providing timely tax guidance.
- Mentor, coach and evaluate junior staff, fostering a collaborative team culture.
Required profile
- Chartered Tax Advisor (CTA) qualification (essential).
- Accountancy qualification such as ACA, ACCA or equivalent (desirable).
- Minimum 2 years post‑qualification experience in a practice environment.
- At least 12 months’ experience in a management role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving and organisational abilities.
Required skills
- Proficiency with taxation software.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
