Senior Test Automation Engineer

About the role

Daon’s TrustX platform protects billions of digital identities. As a Senior Test Automation Engineer you will design, develop and maintain automated tests that verify the reliability, scalability and correctness of this cloud‑native SaaS product. You will work closely with backend, frontend, mobile, DevOps and architecture teams to ensure end‑to‑end quality across multiple environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and evolve automation frameworks covering API, UI, integration, performance and regression testing.
• Develop test suites using tools such as JUnit/TestNG, Selenium, Cypress, Playwright or RestAssured.
• Validate API contracts, authentication flows, session behavior and data integrity across micro‑services.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to create meaningful end‑to‑end coverage and automated health checks for release pipelines.
• Leverage AI‑powered tools like GitHub Copilot to generate test cases, identify coverage gaps and improve regression analysis.
• Support performance and load testing, investigate P1 incidents and contribute to code reviews.

Required profile

• 5+ years of test automation experience for enterprise or SaaS products.
• Strong programming skills in Java or TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Hands‑on experience with test frameworks such as JUnit/TestNG, Selenium/WebDriver, Cypress, Playwright or RestAssured.
• Solid understanding of distributed systems, APIs, micro‑services and authentication mechanisms.
• Experience testing SaaS applications in cloud environments (AWS preferred) using Docker/Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integration of tests into GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
