Shipping & Receiving Support I – 12 Month Contract

About the role

TE Connectivity is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Support I to join its Distribution & Logistics team on a 12‑month contract. The role ensures finished goods are packaged, labeled and dispatched accurately and on time, supporting both commercial sales and internal production schedules.

Key responsibilities

• Package and prepare final shipping boxes for finished goods and non‑inventory shipments.
• Collect and verify finished goods from manufacturing before dispatch.
• Decide shipping timing in consultation with Customer Services, Production and Supply Chain based on product availability.
• Release, pick and reserve item‑lots for commercial sales orders using SAP.
• Accurately match item‑lots to released sales orders and apply verified shipping labels.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to standard work procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team under tight deadlines.
• Good interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
• Flexibility to work overtime when required.
• Valid clean driving licence; forklift licence desirable (training provided).

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP ERP system.
• Competent use of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Basic forklift operation skills.
