Site CAPEX Manager

About the role

The Site CAPEX Manager will lead the delivery of capital projects at our Waterford site, ensuring alignment with global standards, regulatory requirements, and cross‑functional objectives. Reporting to the Site Engineering Director, you will manage a team of engineers while collaborating closely with EHS, Quality, Finance, and Operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead construction management, site permitting, and embed EHS requirements across all CAPEX activities and third‑party contractors.
• Ensure compliance with QMS standards, act as SME for regulatory requirements, and support internal audits.
• Oversee financial performance of the capital portfolio, including Assets Under Construction, impairment, CAPEX, OPEX, headcount, and capital approval documentation.
• Develop and coach the engineering team through performance management, project escalation, and execution of capital projects.
• Manage the Facility Investment Plan, participate in the Local Capital Approval Board, and support project estimation and capital planning.

Required profile

• B.Eng. in an engineering discipline.
• Green Belt or Six Sigma qualification.
• Minimum 8 years’ experience leading and delivering CAPEX projects in the pharmaceutical or similarly regulated environment.
• Proven leadership in high‑speed manufacturing, with strong collaboration with EHS, Quality, Operations, and senior management.
• Commercial acumen with experience reviewing capital expenditure, analysing data, and providing decision‑support recommendations.
