Site Engineer – Construction Management

About the role

We are looking for a Site Engineer to join our site management team in Dublin. The role is hands‑on and site‑based, providing technical support, overseeing building works and ensuring compliance with project specifications, drawings and Irish building regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out precise setting out and levelling of site works using GPS, Robotic Total Stations and other surveying equipment.
• Interpret drawings and specifications, supervise subcontractor performance and resolve technical queries.
• Maintain quality control standards, as‑built documentation, concrete cube sampling and support the BCAR plan.
• Uphold health and safety standards, monitor HSEQ compliance and attend safety meetings.
• Prepare daily site diaries, material reconciliations and progress reports.
• Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, site supervisors and project management to coordinate daily operations.

Required profile

• Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or Construction Management.
• 2–5+ years of experience as a Site Engineer, preferably with a main contractor in the Irish market.
• Full clean driving licence.
• Proactive, organised, strong communication skills and ability to work under pressure.

Required skills

• Proficiency with modern surveying equipment (Robotic Total Station, GPS).
• AutoCAD.
