Site Manager – Civil Engineering (Dublin)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead the construction of a new 110kV GIS substation in central Dublin. You will be responsible for delivering the civil and building package from foundations through to final hand‑over, ensuring safety, quality and programme targets are met.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day site operations for the civil and building package.
• Coordinate subcontractors, direct labour and site resources.
• Oversee reinforced concrete works, structural steel frame erection, cladding installation, internal fit‑out, drainage and external hard‑landscaping.
• Maintain accurate site records, reporting and quality control.
• Liaise with client, design team and project stakeholders.
• Control site logistics, deliveries and health & safety compliance.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Site Manager on large civil engineering or building projects.
• Strong background delivering projects from groundworks and foundations to completion.
• Experience with structural steel frame and cladding packages is highly desirable.
• Valid Safe Pass and relevant site‑management certifications.
• Excellent leadership, communication and programme management skills.
