Software Engineer (AI Agents)

About the role

This position is an entry‑to‑mid‑level software engineering role focused on building AI agents and agentic experiences for business use cases on Marriott's AI Platform. You will develop production‑grade code, collaborate with senior engineers, and continuously expand your AI/ML expertise while delivering real‑world solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Implement AI agents and agentic workflows under senior guidance.
• Write clean, maintainable Python, TypeScript or JavaScript code following team standards.
• Participate in code reviews, unit and integration testing, and debugging.
• Integrate agents with business systems, databases, and APIs (REST, GraphQL, SOAP).
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
• Document technical details and share knowledge within the team.
• Use monitoring and observability tools to track agent behavior.
• Provide production support and incident response when needed.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering production‑grade software to a large user base (100k+).
• Strong understanding of software engineering fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, design patterns).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a self‑organising team.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Interest in business processes and continuous learning.
