Solutions Lead – Development (Remote, Ireland)

About the role

The Solutions Lead, Development will provide technical leadership for complex MES/MOM and digital manufacturing projects. Working remotely for clients in Ireland, you will guide architecture, ensure code quality, and mentor development teams to deliver scalable, high‑performance solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead software development for Opcenter/Camstar MES implementations, overseeing architecture and enforcing development standards.
• Conduct code reviews, manage SDLC best practices, and ensure maintainable, high‑quality code.
• Design and develop UI components (Web applications, Portal Studio) and integration services (CIO, WCF.NET APIs).
• Customize and extend factory models, implement integrations, and support platform administration.
• Collaborate with customers and cross‑functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions, assist with SOW scoping and effort estimation.
• Provide senior‑level troubleshooting, reproduce issues, and deliver upgrades and enhancements.
• Mentor junior developers, deliver technical training, and contribute to internal knowledge bases.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a senior developer or technical lead on MES/MOM projects.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex business needs into technical designs.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% for onsite support.
