Stability Team Manager

About the role

Join a leading pharmaceutical site in Carlow and drive the success of the Stability team. As the Stability Team Manager you will ensure high‑quality, compliant, and efficient stability operations that support the delivery of vaccines, biologics and small‑molecule products.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Stability team through effective selection, coaching, performance management and retention activities.
• Manage the Stability budget, ensuring financial compliance and building accountability across the team.
• Oversee stability activities, including capacity planning, chamber management and resource allocation.
• Lead stability‑related investigations, meeting all regulatory requirements, notifications and timelines.
• Drive compliance with company policies, procedures, guidelines and relevant regulatory standards.
• Facilitate stakeholder communication to achieve quality objectives using operational‑excellence tools such as daily management and leader standard work.
• Monitor metrics and schedule delivery to support site Hoshin objectives.
• Provide resources and development opportunities, maintaining effective training programs for the team.
• Ensure strong customer focus by collaborating with internal stakeholders and external laboratories to meet testing requirements and timelines.
• Play a key role in the Lab Transformation programme, optimizing, standardising and digitising business processes.
• Champion continuous‑improvement initiatives, including lean, standardised work, digitisation and knowledge management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science.
• 5+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
• People‑management experience.
• Experience with stability programmes.
