Staff Data Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Staff Data Engineer to help shape a high‑scale data platform that powers modern software delivery. You will work on a product‑centric data layer handling tens of millions of requests daily and petabytes of data each month.

Key responsibilities

• Design and evolve the data platform architecture.
• Build high‑throughput, reliable CDC and event pipelines.
• Collaborate with security, product, and billing teams to deliver end‑to‑end data solutions.
• Solve system‑level challenges, not just ticket‑based fixes.
• Raise the bar for how data is collected, stored, and used across the organization.

Required profile

• Strong data engineering experience at scale.
• Hands‑on experience with distributed, event‑driven systems.
• Proficiency with AWS and modern tooling such as Kafka/Kinesis and PostgreSQL.
• Excellent coding skills in Python and SQL.
• Passion for how data is actually used and ability to think in systems.
• Comfortable working without a detailed playbook.
