Staff Label Designer

About the role

The Staff Label Designer is responsible for creating and maintaining labels for complex medical devices used by hospital and healthcare staff worldwide. This fixed‑term position (until November 2027) ensures that all labeling complies with global medical device regulations, standards, and business requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Own and drive best‑practice label design across the division, coaching team members as needed.
• Collaborate with Regulatory Affairs, Product Development, Safety Engineering, Packaging, Clinical Sciences, Marketing, Trade Compliance and other SMEs to define label requirements.
• Use specialized labeling software to generate templates, enter text and graphics, and manage label data in a print‑on‑demand system.
• Design label formats that are functional and usable for healthcare staff in multiple global markets.
• Ensure bar‑code verification, manage label materials with packaging engineers, and oversee label releases in PLM/CMS.
• Support multiple concurrent projects, including new products, mergers, acquisitions, and label maintenance.
• Lead innovation initiatives, act as Division Process Owner for labeling, and drive NC/CAPA closure when required.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of global medical device labeling standards and regulations.
• Experience collaborating with cross‑functional product teams and external suppliers.
• Ability to manage complex projects, prioritize tasks, and meet milestones.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
