Staff Nurse – Endoscopy Unit

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the endoscopy unit of a well‑established NHS team. The role is fast‑paced and rewarding, offering the chance to develop specialised nursing skills while supporting patients undergoing endoscopic procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients before, during and after endoscopic procedures.
• Work collaboratively with a busy multidisciplinary team to ensure safe and efficient service delivery.
• Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to infection‑control and safety protocols.
• Support patient education and answer queries related to the procedure.
• Continuously develop professional knowledge and skills within the endoscopy setting.

Required profile

• Degree or Diploma in Adult Nursing.
• Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) in Adult Nursing.
• Motivated, enthusiastic and forward‑thinking individual.
• Commitment to equality, diversity and the NHS values.
• Ability to work effectively in a busy, high‑pressure environment.
