Startup Founder & CEO (Equity-Only, Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a seasoned professional to become the Founder & CEO of a new B2B venture. The position starts as a part‑time, equity‑only role, fully remote, with the aim of building and launching a company that solves an identified industry inefficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct early‑stage research, user interviews and market analysis to validate the problem and shape the solution.
• Perform competitor analysis to identify gaps, differentiators and positioning opportunities.
• Define and deliver the first version of the business – service‑led, no‑code or tech‑enabled – to test real customer demand.
• Lead initial sales efforts, pitch, sell and onboard the first paying customers.
• Iterate quickly using feedback and performance data to refine the offer, pricing and business model.
• Prepare and present fundraising material when needed, with support from DQventures.
• Commit at least 12 hours per week and join weekly 1:1 strategy calls with the venture‑building team.
• Own the overall direction, decisions and long‑term success of the company.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of professional experience, including leadership roles.
• Deep domain expertise in a specific sector or function and a strong professional network.
• Proven track record of executing complex projects or launching new initiatives.
• Experience in sales, partnerships or business development is a strong plus.
• Background in product management, operations or service design is advantageous.
