Strategic Account Manager – Rail

About the role

We are looking for a Strategic Account Manager – Rail to drive growth and deepen relationships across Ireland's rail sector. The role will focus on major programmes such as MetroLink, Luas expansion and the All‑Island Strategic Rail Plan, leveraging Murphy Geospatial’s digital and geospatial expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and expand strategic rail accounts, with a focus on the upcoming MetroLink project.
• Develop account plans that broaden digital, survey, geospatial and engineering service offerings.
• Identify and shape large‑scale work packages for rail and transit programmes.
• Collaborate with bid, technical and delivery teams to secure proposals and framework positions.
• Build senior‑level relationships with rail clients, transport authorities, consultants and Tier‑1 contractors.
• Map stakeholder organisations to pinpoint decision‑makers and procurement leads.
• Translate technical solutions into clear ROI narratives for commercial evaluation.

Required profile

• Deep knowledge of rail engineering and infrastructure projects.
• Extensive network within the Irish rail sector.
• Proven ability to win complex digital, survey and geospatial contracts.
• Strong commercial acumen and thought‑leadership capabilities.
