Structured Finance Lawyer

About the role

Join ALG’s Structured Finance Group as a Structured Finance Lawyer, working on some of the market’s most complex and high‑value transactions. You will advise a diverse client base, including Irish banks, international lenders, private equity funds, and institutional investors, on a wide range of structured finance and debt capital markets matters.

Key responsibilities

• Advise Irish banks and non‑bank lenders on securitisation of residential mortgage and auto loan portfolios.
• Support international banks and financial institutions with structured finance transactions involving Irish Section 110 companies.
• Assist private equity, hedge funds, and credit funds in establishing direct lending platforms and other credit structures.
• Provide counsel to managers, arrangers, and investors on CLO transactions.
• Deliver structuring solutions for private equity and institutional credit and asset managers, collaborating with investment funds and tax teams.
• Handle all forms of fund finance and work with the Financial Regulatory Group on relevant regulatory matters.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor with 1–4 years post‑qualification experience.
• Demonstrated structured finance experience gained at a mid‑tier law firm or during a training contract.
• Ambitious, enthusiastic and able to thrive in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
