Supervising Pharmacist

About the role

As a Supervising Pharmacist at Boots Ireland you will lead a pharmacy team to deliver exceptional customer and patient care. You will combine expert clinical advice with a focus on safety, compliance and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver the pharmacy strategy by providing expert care and advice to customers and patients.
• Make legal and ethical decisions for the pharmacy and ensure compliance with all regulations.
• Build pharmacy capability within store teams through coaching and development.
• Conduct ongoing audits, observations and risk assessments to safeguard patient safety.
• Provide a range of professional pharmacy services, including medication reviews and health‑promotion activities.

Required profile

• Registered with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland.
• Minimum three years of relevant pharmacy experience.
• High professional expertise recognised by peers, patients and external professionals.
• Passion for community pharmacy and delivering the best possible care.
• Collaborative, team‑oriented mindset with strong communication skills.
