Supply Chain Manager – Direct Agrochemicals Experience Required

About the role

This senior Supply Chain Manager position is with an established crop‑protection business that manufactures active‑ingredient chemical pesticides and formulations. You will own procurement, supplier compliance and logistics for an international product portfolio, working closely with senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Manage procurement of active ingredients and raw materials, primarily from Chinese and Indian suppliers, and develop new sources as the portfolio expands.
• Conduct supplier evaluation, licensing collection, certification audits and ongoing compliance reviews.
• Control cost of goods sold, negotiate with suppliers and collaborate with finance to protect product margins and cash‑flow.
• Coordinate with Compliance and Transport & Logistics to ensure current supplier licences and efficient product movement.
• Liaise with the Operations Manager to align procurement schedules with production planning and demand signals.

Required profile

• Supply chain or procurement professional with direct experience in agrochemicals, crop protection or chemical manufacturing.
• Hands‑on exposure to Asian sourcing, supplier qualification and compliance audit processes.
• Proven ability to manage COGS and understand margin drivers.
• Comfortable working in Business Central or a comparable ERP system, or able to learn quickly.
• Based in Ireland (hybrid) or the United Kingdom (office presence).
