Supply Chain Specialist (On-site, Galway)

About the role

The Supply Chain Specialist will join a small, high-performance team in Galway, reporting directly to the Supply Chain Lead. The role blends desk-based logistics management – including import/export, shipping coordination and data administration – with hands-on activities such as labelling, packing and moving stock.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate domestic and international shipments to markets including the US, Japan, South Korea, Brazil, Mexico and Vietnam.
• Maintain and optimise supply chain processes for both inbound and outbound goods.
• Handle import/export documentation and ensure compliance with regulated-industry standards.
• Perform physical tasks such as labelling, packing and stock movement to support warehouse operations.
• Administer supply chain data in ERP systems and generate regular performance reports.

Required profile

• Proven experience in supply chain management, shipping and international import/export operations.
• Willingness to work both at a desk and on the shop floor, moving boxes and packing as needed.
• Self-starter able to work independently in a 100 % on-site environment.
• Steady career history with a focus on long-term stability and progression.
• Experience in a regulated sector such as medical devices or pharma is a distinct advantage.
