Support Technician 1

About the role

The IT Support Technician provides technical guidance, troubleshooting and issue resolution to plant team members, ensuring uninterrupted IT service across both office and production environments. You will work closely with European and corporate IT teams to maintain and improve the company’s IT infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Administer Active Directory and manage user accounts.
• Provide business systems support and anti‑virus administration.
• Perform basic TCP/IP troubleshooting and server backup, administration, and maintenance.
• Deliver desktop, phone‑system and security‑system (site access and time & attendance) support.
• Install, upgrade and maintain IT hardware and software for office and manufacturing environments.
• Maintain accurate IT maintenance documentation and procedures.
• Liaise with Europe, corporate IT and other Jabil IT departments.
• Support company safety, quality programs and ensure GMP compliance.

Required profile

• Pursuing a certificate or diploma in IT or a related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of modern PC/server hardware and software.
• Experience supporting both office and manufacturing IT environments is an advantage.
• Proactive attitude toward staying current with IT trends.
• Systematic troubleshooting and good organisational skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
• Ability to work effectively within a team.
