About the role
The Health Service Executive is seeking a Grade V System Administrator to join the Application Portfolio Management team within the Dublin & South East region. The role supports the delivery and continuous improvement of software applications across a range of healthcare services.
Key responsibilities
- Provide day‑to‑day administration, configuration and support for a portfolio of software applications.
- Ensure service delivery standards are met and contribute to team performance improvements.
- Maintain compliance with ICT procedures, regulations and healthcare‑specific requirements.
- Supervise and manage a small team of administration staff.
- Travel between the Dublin corporate office and regional sites as required, particularly if based in Kilkenny.
Required profile
- Third‑level qualification in a relevant ICT field.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in an IT support team with a focus on service delivery.
- Experience in the administration, configuration and support of software applications.
- Demonstrated ability to supervise and manage a team of administrators.
- Knowledge of hospital/healthcare systems and familiarity with medical terminology.
