About the role
Join a leading civil engineering contractor in Ireland as an in‑house Talent Acquisition Specialist. Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Manager, you will drive full‑cycle recruitment for engineering, site and support functions, ensuring a high‑quality candidate experience.
Key responsibilities
- Manage end‑to‑end recruitment for multiple roles across the business.
- Partner with hiring managers to define requirements, timelines and recruitment strategies.
- Create and facilitate competency‑based assessment tests.
- Source candidates via LinkedIn, job boards, referrals and direct outreach.
- Screen, assess and coordinate interviews, feedback and offers.
- Maintain regular updates on pipelines, hiring progress and candidate communications.
- Support career events, graduate engagement and recruitment campaigns.
- Build talent pipelines for future hiring needs and manage pre‑employment checks and onboarding.
- Oversee relationships with external agencies to ensure quality and cost‑effectiveness.
Required profile
- 3‑5 years of recruitment or talent acquisition experience in a fast‑paced environment.
- Proven full‑cycle recruitment track record.
- Strong sourcing ability, especially through LinkedIn and headhunting.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
- Degree in Business, HR or related field; CIPD qualification beneficial.
