About the role
Clancy, a leading construction company in Ireland, is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to own end‑to‑end recruitment for its growing business. Reporting to the Head of People and Culture, you will work on both Dublin and Thurles locations, ensuring a high‑quality candidate experience and supporting the company’s expansion across residential, commercial and specialised sectors.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from CV screening to offer issuance and pre‑employment checks.
- Proactively source candidates via LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, direct outreach and referrals.
- Maintain and update job postings on approved platforms and the Clancy careers page.
- Coordinate interview scheduling, candidate communication and support hiring managers with structured interview guides.
- Ensure consistent, competency‑based selection processes and compliance with GDPR, equality legislation and company policy.
- Maintain accurate recruitment records and ATS data in Bamboo.
- Produce regular recruitment reports and represent Clancy at job fairs and recruiting events.
- Manage relationships with approved recruitment agencies as required.
Required profile
- 5+ years of talent acquisition experience, preferably in‑house.
- Proven ability to deliver high‑quality hires in a fast‑moving environment.
- Strong stakeholder management and excellent candidate engagement skills.
- Commitment to fair, transparent and data‑driven recruitment practices.
