Team Lead – Technical Records (Aviation)

About the role

This position leads the Technical Records team for a major airline group operating in Ireland. The role is responsible for driving compliance, digitalisation and asset lifecycle services across complex aviation projects, ensuring regulatory adherence and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the strategic direction for technical records, digital migration and asset management services.
• Lead a multidisciplinary team handling compliance, records quality reviews, end‑of‑lease transitions and asset management activities.
• Allocate resources, monitor project progress and guarantee timely delivery of high‑quality services.
• Collaborate with product, innovation, IT, operations and commercial teams to implement digital solutions that automate workflows.
• Act as primary contact for airline customers, maintenance organisations and lessors on technical records and digital transformation initiatives.
• Ensure all technical records meet EASA, FAA and IATA regulatory requirements.
• Produce performance reports on compliance status, digital migration progress and asset quality.
• Identify operational risks, apply mitigation strategies and promote continuous improvement and employee development.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years experience in aviation technical records, aircraft asset management or related technical services.
• At least 2 years of proven team‑leadership and complex project management experience in the aviation sector.
• Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of aviation regulations such as EASA, FAA and IATA.
• Demonstrated ability to drive digital transformation and process improvement.
