Territory Business Development Executive – North Dublin

About the role

We are looking for a commercially driven, energetic Business Development Executive to own an established territory in North Dublin for a leading FMCG company. You will manage existing independent retailers and foodservice customers while identifying new commercial opportunities to grow sales and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain long‑term relationships with existing customers.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities across the territory.
• Increase sales, market share and profitability through effective merchandising and product visibility.
• Introduce new product launches, promotional campaigns and advise customers on range and ordering.
• Analyse sales performance, monitor competitor activity and market trends.
• Ensure excellent customer service and resolve issues promptly.
• Manage the territory as if it were your own business.

Required profile

• Full clean driving licence.
• Experience in field/territory sales, FMCG, business development, merchandising or van sales.
• Strong commercial awareness and a passion for growing sales.
• Excellent relationship‑building and communication skills.
• Proactive, organised and self‑motivated.

Required skills

• Use of handheld technology for sales reporting.
