Training Specialist

About the role

We are a well‑established food manufacturing business in County Cork looking for a Training Specialist to drive workforce development across our operations. You will ensure employees are trained, competent, and compliant with food safety and operational standards while working closely with production, technical, and HR teams.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule training programmes for operational teams.
• Support onboarding and induction for new hires.
• Maintain training records and compliance documentation.
• Track training completion and keep mandatory training up to date.
• Assist in developing training materials and programmes.
• Support managers in identifying training needs and competency gaps.

Required profile

• Experience in training coordination, HR support, or learning & development.
• Strong organisational and administration abilities.
• Ability to maintain accurate training records and compliance documentation.
• Excellent communication skills and capacity to work cross‑functionally.

Required skills

• Knowledge of food safety standards such as HACCP and BRCGS (desirable).
