UX Designer

About the role
We are looking for a UX Designer to join Verizon’s V Team. In this role you will apply solid design fundamentals and emerging AI‑enhanced workflows to create intuitive, user‑focused experiences for our products and services. You will own specific features while collaborating closely with senior designers, product managers, engineers and business partners.
Key responsibilities
- Identify design problems and opportunities within briefs and define appropriate user flows.
- Generate multiple credible design concepts and iterate using generative AI tools to accelerate ideation and prototyping.
- Design intuitive interfaces that adhere to Verizon’s design system and deliver clear value to users.
- Document design solutions, create assets, and ensure consistency across platforms.
- Participate in user research activities, synthesize insights, and incorporate them into design decisions.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, give and receive constructive feedback, and communicate project goals and outcomes.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, or a related discipline.
- Professional experience in UX design with a portfolio demonstrating the full design process.
- Strong visual and interaction design sensibility grounded in user needs.
- Curiosity about emerging technologies, especially AI, and a willingness to experiment with new tools.
Required skills
- UX design principles and interaction design.
- Prototyping and wireframing.
- Use of generative AI or AI‑integrated design software (e.g., tools that assist with asset generation).
