Vice President, Organization Effectiveness & Workforce Strategy

About the role

Autodesk is seeking an experienced enterprise leader to shape and drive its Organization Effectiveness agenda at a pivotal stage of growth. Reporting to the Chief People Officer and serving on the People & Places Leadership Team, this Vice President will influence organization design, transformation, and workforce planning across the company.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute Autodesk’s enterprise Organization Effectiveness strategy, covering organization design, transformation, and workforce planning.
• Advise senior leaders and the C‑suite on operating model, capability priorities, workforce implications, and ways of working.
• Translate business strategy into actionable organization and workforce plans that support performance and growth.
• Lead the people and organizational components of enterprise transformation initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Build and evolve a high‑impact internal consulting capability grounded in data, benchmarking, and pragmatic delivery.
• Shape Autodesk’s future‑of‑work approach, including AI implications for work, capability building, leadership, and design.
• Develop scalable frameworks, tools, and processes to strengthen organizational effectiveness company‑wide.
• Grow organization‑effectiveness capability within People Business Partners and Chiefs of Staff.

Required profile

• Proven enterprise‑level leadership experience in organization design, transformation, or workforce planning.
• Strong judgment, executive presence, and ability to influence senior leaders, including the C‑suite.
• Track record of translating strategic objectives into practical, business‑relevant outcomes.
• Experience leading high‑impact teams (approximately 12 members) in a matrixed environment.
• Ability to work collaboratively across HR functions such as Talent, Culture, Total Rewards, and People Insights.
