About the role

We are seeking a skilled Volvo Diesel Technician to join our on‑site team in Galway. This full‑time position involves maintaining and repairing Volvo diesel vehicles, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine vehicle maintenance and preventive checks on Volvo diesel fleets.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electronic diesel system issues.
• Execute repair and replacement tasks to restore vehicle performance.
• Document work performed and maintain service records in accordance with company standards.
• Provide clear communication with customers regarding service findings and recommendations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in vehicle maintenance, preventive maintenance, and diesel system troubleshooting.
• Strong attention to detail and effective problem‑solving abilities.
• Technical certification or relevant training in diesel mechanics.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and deliver high‑quality service on‑site.
