Warehouse Operative & Goods‑In Administrator

About the role

We are seeking a Warehouse Operative who will also act as a Goods‑In Administrator to ensure the accurate and timely dispatch of medicinal products and the proper receipt of incoming stock. The role combines hands‑on warehouse activities with administrative duties, adhering to strict Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and EU Good Distribution Practice (GDP) standards.

Key responsibilities

• Pick, pack and dispatch products according to picking dockets, verifying batch numbers and labelling accuracy.
• Maintain clean, pest‑free warehouse conditions and complete associated cleaning records.
• Pack refrigerated deliveries following validated SOPs and assess returned cool boxes for reuse.
• Process supplier deliveries, log them onto Sage, and ensure storage meets labelled requirements.
• Monitor cold‑chain integrity on receipt and report any temperature alarms.
• Liaise with customer services, DPD, and the warehouse manager on order and delivery queries.
• Identify, document and report any product quality issues or deviations from SOPs.

Required profile

• Experience in logistics or warehouse environments, preferably with medicinal or temperature‑sensitive products.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow SOPs and EU GDP guidelines.
• Capability to work efficiently with internal teams and external carriers.
• Willingness to maintain a safe and hygienic warehouse environment.

Required skills

• Sage ERP for goods receipt and inventory logging.
• Knowledge of EU Good Distribution Practice (GDP) for medicinal products.
• Cold‑chain management procedures.
