Warehouse Operator

About the role

Abbott is seeking a Warehouse Operator for its Kilkenny site, a modern facility that manufactures diabetes care products. The role involves providing high‑quality storage and warehousing services to support manufacturing and supply‑chain operations.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, record and store incoming materials using the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Pick, stage and dispatch materials and finished goods according to production work orders and kanban signals.
• Process receipt, issue, shipment and transfer transactions in the ERP system.
• Perform regular inventory counts, cycle counts and physical inventory control procedures.
• Coordinate with the Operations Planning Team to resolve material receipt and approval issues.
• Maintain equipment in safe, good condition and comply with EHS policies.

Required profile

• Ability to follow quality, safety and procedural standards.
• Attention to detail for accurate data entry and inventory management.
• Physical capability to handle routine material‑handling tasks.

Required skills

• Experience with Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Proficiency in ERP systems for material transactions.
• Understanding of kanban processes and inventory control procedures.
