Warehouse Supervisor

About the role

As a Warehouse Supervisor you will lead logistics and storage operations at our Longford facility, ensuring alignment with supply‑chain objectives while fostering a safe and efficient environment.

Key responsibilities

• Direct daily receiving and dispatch activities, manage dock scheduling and allocate labour to meet demand.
• Lead inventory integrity through cycle counts, full physical audits and resolution of ERP stock discrepancies.
• Supervise a team of warehouse operatives, conduct briefings, set performance targets and perform regular 1‑on‑1 appraisals.
• Onboard and cross‑train staff on automated systems and material‑handling equipment such as forklifts and conveyors.
• Enforce safety protocols, maintain manual handling equipment and keep the facility “tour‑ready” with 5S standards.
• Utilise ERP and data dashboards to monitor productivity, identify bottlenecks and drive continuous improvement using Lean or Six Sigma methods.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and a proven track record of promoting a safety‑first culture.
• Experience tracking operational metrics and implementing continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Ability to ensure adherence to best practices and standard operating procedures.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for clear instruction and feedback.
• Demonstrated coaching ability to develop team members and support skill growth.
