Warehouse Supervisor

About the role

We are looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to lead our Kells warehouse team. This permanent position offers a competitive salary and benefits package while ensuring safe and efficient handling of medical and surgical equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily warehouse activities including receiving, storage, picking, packing and dispatch.
• Maintain accurate goods‑in and goods‑out processes and ensure correct entries in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Allocate tasks, monitor workflow and meet operational targets.
• Oversee inventory accuracy, conduct cycle counts and resolve discrepancies.
• Ensure safe forklift operation, certify operators and conduct equipment inspections.
• Enforce health, safety and compliance standards, especially for medical equipment.
• Identify and implement continuous‑improvement initiatives and monitor KPIs.
• Provide hands‑on support when needed and prepare performance reports.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a supervisory or senior warehouse operative role.
• Strong understanding of goods‑in/out processes and stock control.
• Experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Valid forklift licence (counterbalance or reach).
