Web Designer – UI/UX & Front‑End Development

About the role

Our Dublin‑based client is looking for a Web Designer to join a growing team on a permanent, hybrid basis. You will be responsible for creating engaging, responsive, and accessible digital experiences while collaborating closely with developers and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain responsive, user‑friendly websites.
• Create intuitive UI/UX designs, wireframes, prototypes, and page layouts.
• Develop front‑end website components using HTML and CSS.
• Manage and update website content through a Content Management System.
• Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to deliver digital projects.
• Apply WCAG accessibility and SEO best practices.
• Continuously improve website performance and user experience.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing and building websites from concept to implementation.
• Strong UI/UX design skills with a portfolio showcasing website projects.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Required skills

• Advanced CSS, including creating reusable components.
• HTML and responsive web design expertise.
• Experience with CMS platforms such as Umbraco or WordPress.
• Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Knowledge of WCAG accessibility standards and SEO best practices.
• Familiarity with Visual Studio/Visual Studio Code and front‑end development workflows.
