Youth Officer

About the role
The Youth Officer will provide high‑level administrative support to the Waterford and Wexford Education and Training Board (WWETB). Working from the Dungarvan Further Education & Training Centre, the role contributes to the delivery of quality services across the Board’s education and training portfolio.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver day‑to‑day administrative assistance to WWETB staff and programmes.
- Coordinate communications and maintain accurate records for youth‑focused initiatives.
- Liaise with schools, further education centres and community partners to support service delivery.
- Assist in the preparation of reports, data entry and documentation required for programme monitoring.
- Support the planning and execution of youth engagement activities and events.
Required profile
- Appropriate qualifications for an administrative role within the education sector.
- Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, external partners and community groups.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
