About the role
The Academic Affairs Associate and Law Lecturer will support the administration, coordination and quality assurance of undergraduate and postgraduate law programmes at Griffith College Dublin. Reporting to the Head of Faculty, Law, the role combines academic administration with teaching responsibilities to ensure high standards of learner training and assessment.
Key responsibilities
- Support operational and academic administration of law programmes, including examination boards, validation events and programme coordination.
- Lecture on assigned undergraduate and postgraduate courses, delivering daytime, evening and blended learning.
- Develop module materials, maintain Moodle pages and upload learning resources.
- Assist with pre‑examination and examination boards, results processing, internal moderation and repeat examinations.
- Coordinate academic misconduct procedures and investigations.
- Contribute to quality‑assurance initiatives, curriculum review and programme development.
- Supervise dissertations and research projects where appropriate.
- Provide academic advice, support learner engagement and retention initiatives.
Required profile
- Experience in academic administration and teaching within a law faculty.
- Ability to manage examination processes and uphold academic integrity.
- Strong communication skills for lecturing and learner support.
