Academic Manager

About the role

OHC Dublin, an accredited language school in the heart of Dublin, is seeking an Academic Manager to lead the day‑to‑day academic operations. The role combines leadership of teaching staff with direct support for students and includes a teaching component.

Key responsibilities

• Line‑manage teachers and coordinate their schedules.
• Handle student academic enquiries and ensure timely support.
• Develop and maintain the school timetable.
• Induct new students and teachers, overseeing their integration.
• Manage the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) programme.
• Deliver teaching sessions as required, either scheduled or as cover.

Required profile

• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Highly organised with strong time‑management and administrative abilities.
• Proactive, energetic and able to work under pressure.
• Legal right to work in Ireland and currently based in the country.
• Knowledge of additional foreign languages is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficient use of IT tools for administration and scheduling.
