Accommodation Assistant – Hotel Housekeeping

About the role

The Accommodation Assistant will join the Hodson Bay Hotel’s housekeeping team, ensuring guest rooms and public areas are kept to the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort. You will work flexible hours, Monday to Sunday, supporting a positive guest experience in a Great Place to Work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain thorough knowledge of accommodation department standards and performance metrics.
• Participate in departmental training and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Clean guest bedrooms and bathrooms to excellent standards.
• Clean public areas and undertake regular deep‑cleaning tasks.
• Restock and maintain cleaning trolleys daily.
• Manage guest requests promptly and efficiently.
• Complete all checklists to an excellent standard.

Required profile

• Previous hotel cleaning or housekeeping experience preferred.
• Enjoy working as part of a team.
• Maintain a professional appearance.
• Energetic, customer‑focused with strong communication skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure.
